About the JSON to XML converter
Convert a JSON value into XML using explicit conventions that keep the output predictable.
Conversion rules
- A single top-level property becomes the root element; other values use a root element named root.
- Array entries are emitted as item elements.
- Keys beginning with @ become attributes and #text becomes element text.
- A null value becomes an empty XML element.
How to use it
- Paste valid JSON.
- Select Convert.
- Review the generated element names and structure, then copy or download the XML.
Limitations
JSON property names used as elements or attributes must be valid XML names. Combining #text with child elements is rejected because mixed XML content cannot be represented safely by this convention.
Privacy
The JSON-to-XML conversion runs locally in your browser and does not upload the payload.
